He served with distinction in the United Stated Air Force for 30 years, form 1993-2023. During his military career, he flew the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker, and later the Boeing KC-46A Pegasus, completing a remarkable career in aviation and service to his country.
​
Today, Wayne continues flying as a captin for Delta Air Lines. When he is not in the sky, he enjoys life on his family farm with his wife, Mellissa, and their three children Ireland, Campbell, and Jett. Their home is filled with animals and simpled joys of farm life.
​
Wayne and his family faithfully attend and serve at Goldsboro Worship Center where they are active in their church community.
